Micro-stub brake systems are necessary if you are going to use a rear suspension that is different from a VW style trailing arm arrangement. This Race-Trim kit utilizes the best of the best in both components and materials used. 4-Piston brake calipers, vented rotors, forged chromoly stub axles, forged hub assemblies, 6061 T-6 aluminum alloy rotor hats & wheel adapters.This kit comes complete ready for fab-in installation and are sold as a set. Bolt pattern is 5/205. In addition we also offer a micro-arm flange tube to facilitate installation of the race-trim micro stub brake kit to a tubular trailing arm. See related items below.
These CV micro stubs are 33 spline, 1 piece 4340 chromoly forgings which are then 100% CNC machined. These splines are cold formed/rolled, rather than cut.
The 11 1/4 x .360" vented, blanchard ground rotor is bolted to a 6061-T6 aluminum hub, and slides onto a forged center hub assembly with H.D. bearing.
The race trim hub/bearing assembly features a 33 spline 1.490" center section with sealed, heavy duty bearing and 14mm pressed in grade 10.9 studs (equivalent to a 2500 G.M. truck) The bolt pattern is 5 on 4.750". The bearing is not replaceable.
