VRN Volume #1 Silver Dollar Showdown #3, Fast Times at Farmington #5

K&L Motorsports presents The Silver Dollar Showdown between the Billet Racing Engines Top Fuel Dragster and the Turbo Powered Vw Paradise Dragster. Also in attendance were the 6 second naturally aspirated Vw Pro Stocks.

Other Highlights from Silver Dollar were the Vintage Performance Street Challenge. With drivers making 3 runs down the 1/4 mile strip, their times were tallied up to determine who would win the first ever Street Car Challenge.

The South Eastern Volkswagen Association was also in attendance with their 3 racket classes running in the 1/8th mile. Racers as far as Florida, Texas, and even Indiana made the haul to withness this massive Vw event to kick off the 2006 season.

Farmington has been a long standing tradition in the Vw community and brings one of the largest crowds to date. While taking a break from the Drag Race spectators can enjoy the Car Show or browse items from both New and Used vendors.
